Welcome to Madison District Public Schools
Welcome to Madison District Public Schools! We take great pride in providing a quality education for ALL STUDENTS, and we are excited to embark on a new era where we can create a lasting legacy and share our story. This is a time of growth and opportunity, and together, we are shaping the future for our students, families, and community.
Every day, we live out our core values by putting students first, demonstrating courageous leadership, striving to become ONE Percent Better daily, persevering through challenges, and upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct. Our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment ensures that every student has the opportunity to thrive, grow, and reach their fullest potential.
We are proud to share some of our recent achievements: Madison students have earned over $10 million in scholarships and grants(Class of 2024 and 2023), with a graduation rate exceeding 90%. These accomplishments reflect our dedication to educational excellence and the pursuit of success for all.
In addition to academics, we offer a wide variety of clubs and sports that are free to play, along with after-school tutoring at no cost. Our programs are designed to provide enriching experiences and support for students both inside and outside the classroom.
Thank you for being part of our vibrant community and for joining us on this journey to build a brighter future. Together, we are writing the next chapter in Madison's story.

Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
On December 19, 2014, the Michigan Legislature ordered the enrollment of House Bill 4001, which was signed by the Governor on January 11, 2015. The Bill enacted significant amendments to Michigan’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), primarily in the area of fees that may be charged for responding to FOIA requests. The amendments are effective as of July 1, 2015.
Individuals must use the Freedom of Information Act Request form.
Once the District receives the Freedom of Information Act Request form, the individual submitting the FOIA request will receive a Freedom of Information Act Response letter along with a copy of the Freedom of Information Act Fee Itemization form within the allowable time frame.
